The ION Developer's kit is an easy-to-use digital drive and software package that makes setting up and testing motion systems quick and accurate. The kit consists of either an ION 500 or an ION 3000 Digital Drive, communication and I/O cables, easy-to-use development software, and documentation. There is also an optional heat sink and DIN rail adapter for the ION 500 model only. Designers only need to connect to a motor and DC power supply to implement a complete motion system.
Included with the ION Developer’s Kit, PMD’s Pro-Motion GUI makes it easy to graph and analyze system performance, while C-Motion and VB-Motion allow you to develop your own application using C/C++ or Visual BASIC.
