Western Regional Sales Manager
Performance Motion Devices, Inc (PMD) is a world leader in motion control technology for robotics, automation, and scientific equipment. We use state-of-the-art DSP and ASIC-based solutions to deliver advanced solutions to our customers including multi-axis path planning, servo control, and ultra high efficiency 'green' motor control products.
PMD is looking for an experienced, top-performing, motivated, sales manager to develop new business and dramatically grow existing business in the western U.S. region. This position involves direct OEM selling as well as managing a network of distributors. The sales manager will be required to penetrate customer engineering departments from management levels to identify key decision makers. This position will be based in Milpitas, CA, with 25-30% travel required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prefer a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering plus a minimum of 8 years of experience in direct OEM sales and managing a network of distributors. Will consider Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Experience selling motors, motion controllers, or drives to OEM’s.
