Program Description
Performance Motion Devices (PMD) is proud to recognize and support innovative motion
control applications, as well as research and development in the academic field.

PMD’s iBot™ program rewards students, researchers, academic groups and organizations
with motion control hardware specific to their application/s in an effort to facilitate a fuller
understanding of motion control and motor control.

Each month, PMD will select an applicant and award the recipient with free motion control
products for their application. The winner will be announced on the 1st of every month. 
Those applications that are not selected will need to be re-submitted for consideration the
following month. The winner will be notified via email and a statement will be posted on the
ibot homepage, www.ibot.pmdcorp.com.  To qualify, click on the link below and submit
your application. PMD will follow the progress of the design through to completion.


PMD looks forward to working with the recipients and expanding their options while
promoting excellence in motion control.


Criteria

• Individuals, students or student teams, non-profits, and university researchers, in the US as
well as internationally, are welcome to apply.

• Project must include a unique motion control component/application

• Submissions must be made by the 15th of each month. Winners will be announced on the
1st of the following month.
