MACHINE CONTROLLER MOTION CARDS

PMD’s Prodigy®/CME Machine Controller cards integrate high performance amplifiers with a full motion control package. Featuring up to four on-card ATLAS® Digital Amplifiers, Machine Controller eliminates the need for external amplifiers, allowing new levels of convenience, integration, and cost savings for applications in life sciences equipment, scientific automation, robotics, and general purpose automation. Available in 1, 2, 3, and 4-axis configurations, these cards support DC brush, brushless DC, and step motors and allow user-written C-language code to be downloaded and run directly on the card. To build a fully functioning system only a power supply, motors, and cabling are needed.

          PROGRAMMABLE STAND-ALONE MOTION CARDS


PMD's Prodigy/CME Stand-Alone Motion Cards provide machine designers the capability to download and run motion programs directly on Prodigy cards. This new capability off-loads the PC host and increases the flexibility to distribute motion programs throughout the machine. Programs can be downloaded to the Prodigy card over UDP and TCP Ethernet protocols, in addition to serial and CANbus protocols. They communicate via 16-bit parallel, Ethernet, serial, and CANbus. PMD’s Stand-Alone Motion Cards offer high-performance motion control for scientific, automation, industrial, and robotic applications. These motion control cards support multiple motor types, including DC brush, brushless DC, microstepping, and step motors. Prodigy/CME Stand-Alone cards are available in 1, 2, 3, and 4-axis versions.

                 PC/104 MOTION CARDS

 

Multi-Motor, Multi-Axis Motion Control Card


PMD’s PC/104 Motion Control Cards provide DC brush, brushless DC, step, and microstepping control. They communicate via a PC/104 bus, CANbus, or serial port.  PC/104 cards are used in embedded systems for industrial control, automation, and robotic applications. The Prodigy®-PC/104 Motion Cards are as available in 1, 2, 3, & 4 axis versions, and use the advanced Magellan® Motion Control IC. Navigator-PC/104 cards are available in 1, 2, and 4-axis configurations and use PMD's Navigator® chipset. All PC/104 cards come equipped with Pro-Motion® GUI, C-Motion® API, and VB-Motion® development software.

PMD’s development software ships with each card, and includes Pro-Motion® GUI , C-Motion® API, and VB-Motion®.
