The Prodigy family of multi-axis motion control cards has just been expanded to include downloadable versions of our PCI and PC/104 cards as well as a new stand-alone model. The new downloadable versions provide the capability for programs to be downloaded and run on the cards without the need for a dedicated host. Programs can be downloaded via the card's serial, CAN or Ethernet interface. These new downloadable versions are available in OEM quantities starting at $575. - more info - | ||||||||||

The onboard execution capability
of the Prodigy Motion Cards is made possible by the addition of a
new dedicated module on the card called the
C-Motion® Engine. The C-Motion Engine stores and
independently executes the downloaded motion control programs. In
addition to handling the motion control functions, the C-Motion
Engine can also manage digital and analog I/O signals locally,
allowing for much faster system responses and a reduced need for
supplemental I/O cards in the system. | ||||||||||
