Built using PMD’s ultra compact N-Series ION, the developer kits combine industry-leading motor and motion control expertise and meet the needs of customers searching for a proven, state-of-the-art solution with a short development time from prototype to production. It is specifically designed to help Portescap customers quickly evaluate their motors and drive their innovations forward, while ensuring compatibility and optimization between motors and motion control technology.

The PCR 56/06 EC SD is tailored to Portescap's BLDC motor range and ensures seamless and fast integration into a wide variety of applications. The kit includes PMD ProMotion – a user-friendly Windows-based software suite with axis wizards, auto-tuning functions, and graphing capabilities that reduce setup time from many days to a few hours. The kit also includes an SDK and PMD C-Motion – an intuitive C-based library of motion control commands that enables flexible and reusable programming, keeping engineering effort to a minimum. With a power supply of up to 56 V and a continuous current capacity of 5.5 A, as well as Hall sensor and encoder feedback options, the PCR 56/06 EC SD easily meets a wide range of application requirements.
PCB-mountable Compact Drives Deliver Minimized Development Time and Maximum Application Possibilities
A standout feature of the developer kit is the PMD N-Series ION, a powerful ultra-compact drive rated to 350 W that can be mounted directly on the application's PCB. This facilitates a smooth transition from prototyping to series production and offers a cost-effective solution that meets the most pressing customer needs.
